Papanas preparation recipe

200 g of flour mix with sugar, vanilla, lemon peel. Add the baking soda quenched with lemon juice, cottage cheese and eggs. We keep the remaining 50 g of flour so that we can work the dough more easily, which is quite sticky.

From the dough we form balls that we give a little through the flour so that they don't stick to the work table while they wait for their turn to fry. :) Flatten the dough balls, form a hole in the middle with your finger and fry them in a hot oil bath over low heat. Be careful not to overheat the fire because it burns on the outside and remains unripe on the inside. Remove the papanas on absorbent paper, then lightly powder them with sugar and serve with sour cream and jam.

I made some smaller balls that later grew too much :), for a more beautiful presentation;)
