The delicacy ... they cook quickly and are very good. It can be served plain, with yogurt or next to a piece of steak.

RECIPE PREPARATION New french fries:

We clean the potatoes, we cut the biggest ones in two and when the oil is well heated, we fry the potatoes for 15 '. We take them out with a spatula, season them with salt and a lot of green parsley.

I served them with chicken legs and beetroot salad.

Good appetite !


A total denim with this recipe. I avoid eating these potatoes often, but even when it's their period, it's a shame not to eat!

It's a goodness, I used all the ingredients in the recipe, dill gives it a special taste.

First of all, patiently wash the potatoes very well. Cut the larger ones into pieces, so that they are about the size of the smaller ones. Put them in a saucepan, add half a teaspoon of salt, cover with water and cook until almost soft (7 minutes in my case).

In a large skillet, melt the duck lard or heat the oil.

Remove the duck halves and put the boiled potatoes, drained very well. Salt, pepper and add the rosemary.

Shake the pan from time to time so that it can brown on all sides.

When they are almost ready, add the crushed or grated garlic.

When the garlic is cooked, turn off the heat. Eat hot potatoes with a salad or a juicy steak. Good appetite!

How to make the best french fries: the triple cooking technique

How many times have you heard, "My wife only knows how to cook french fries and scrambled eggs"? Well, if he really knows how to make THAT french fries, you could have your own Michelin-starred party at home. For one of the simplest dishes in the world is, in fact, a work of art.

Too oily. Burned. Too dry. You cross in the middle. Drowning. Perfect french fries aren't that easy to make, and Michelin-starred chefs have developed real techniques for making them: crispy on the outside, with a cracked copper crust that reveals a fluffy, hot core. Everything from color to textures means reaching perfection when preparing french fries.

But you have to start with the right variety. And continue with the right vessel. Then with the right oil. Eating this is not as easy as some people think, is it?

Contrary to a widespread idea in Romania, red potatoes are not the most suitable for frying. Obviously, the term is wide, and of all the varieties of red potatoes, some can guarantee a tasty dish. But the white and yellow ones are the ones really suitable for frying.

Once you have cleaned them, an important step is to wash them very well to remove the starch. The lower the amount of starch, the crispier they will be. In fact, it is advisable to keep them in very cold water for at least an hour before frying, then drain them very well.

The vessel is also very important: it must be non-stick (cast iron, stainless steel) to be roomy, but also deep. The most suitable oil is vegetable: sunflower, rapeseed or peanut.

The technique of double cooking is popular among amateurs and professionals, and the result is not to be ignored. For this you also need a kitchen thermometer. Heat the oil to 170 degrees Celsius and fry the potatoes for 5 minutes. Take them out and let them drain on a metal grill (10-15 minutes), not on a napkin, because the grill allows air circulation and so the potatoes do not soften.

The second stage consists in frying the potatoes at a temperature of 190 degrees Celsius, until they become copper. During this process, a crispy crust forms, but the inside remains fluffy. As I said, this procedure guarantees a decent preparation.
